Western Swing Society Hall of Fame member Herb Steiner has played
and recorded with a host of great singers and musicians, including
Johnny Bush, Michael Martin Murphey, Jerry Jeff Walker, Asleep At
the Wheel, Dale Watson, Cornell Hurd, The Derailers, and Wayne Hancock.
We are honored by his gracious comments regarding our Custom Double

Tommy White
Tommy
White, staff steel guitarist for the Grand Ole' Opry and
recording session player, is now playing a West Coast Steel Guitar!
He has used it on a number of recording sessions and really enjoys
the guitar. As you are probably aware, non-pedal guitar is again
making its way into recordings. Here is a post from the Steel
Guitar Forum:
I just received my new 8 string non-pedal steel from West Coast
steel guitars and it is incredible! This thing has sustain and
tone for days, not to mention the beautiful and detailed craftsmanship.
The gold hardware is the icing on the cake. If you have not seen
or heard one of these and you like fine instruments, these are
great, and no, they did not pay me to say this, I really dig this
guitar and thought I would pass the info along.

If you haven't heard Tommy play, you're missing a talented and
creative player. We attend steel guitar events and conventions
around the country and look forward to meeting you. We had a booth
at Scotty's International Steel Guitar Convention in St.
Louis this year. Our booth was located between Joe Wright and
Robby Turner in the main ballroom. If you have never attended
this event you are really missing something!

Along with hearing terrific steel guitar players, you are able
to see the latest instruments, accessories, and courses, and have
the opportunity to speak directly with all the builders and players
of steel guitar. Try to attend this event on Labor Day weekend.
We will have a booth at the Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree in
Dallas. The jamboree is held in March. This show gets better
every year! For information contact the Texas Steel Guitar Association
at 888-208-9709. We look forward to meeting you and hope you will
try one of our steel guitars.
If
you are in the Pacific Northwest Area please feel free
